Air Fryer Pork Chop Ingredients

  • Thick pork chops – This recipe uses 1 1/2 to 2-inch thick boneless pork chops. This would also work for thick-cut bone-in pork chops, too. For thin pork chops, the cooking time will be shorter.
  • Avocado oil – Highly heat resistant and perfect for cooking food in the air fryer. 
  • Salt 
  • Black pepper 

How to Make Pork Chops in Air Fryer

With the help of your trusty air fryer, you can savor thick, succulent pork chops with a delectable crispy exterior in just a matter of minutes. No more worrying about overcooking or dry chops.

Season and cook the chops

  • Grab those juicy chops and give them a little love with some avocado oil, a sprinkle of salt, and a dash of black pepper. Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in the basket of the air fryer.
  • Set the temperature to a cool 380 degrees F and let them hang out for about 12 minutes. Making sure to flip those babies over halfway through – we want them to get that perfect crisp on both sides. Check the internal temperature of those pork chops using a meat thermometer – we’re aiming for a perfect 145 degrees F. Anything past that, and the chops can get tough and dry.

Remove and Serve

  • Remove those flavorful air fryer pork chops from the air fryer basket and serve with your favorite sides. While they rest, place a dollop of compound butter on top for a layer of extra flavor.

Make juicy thick pork chops in your air fryer! Pork chops can be difficult to cook, but your air fryer simplifies things. These are simply seasoned, and serve with your favorite sides.

Ingredients  

  • 2 lbs pork chops 1.5-2 inch thick
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions 

  • Remove the pork from the package and pat dry with paper towels.
    2 lbs pork chops
  • Coat the pork chops with avocado oil on both sides.
    1 tbsp avocado oil
  • Liberally season with salt and black pepper.
    ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Meanwhile, preheat your air fryer for 380 degrees F.
  • Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
  • Use an instant read thermometer to check the internal doneness of the pork chops. Pork chops are safe to eat at 145 degrees F.
  • Carefully remove the pork chops from the air fryer basket and rest 5 minute.
  • Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
