Air Fryer Thick-cut Pork Chops Recipe
Make juicy thick pork chops in your air fryer! Pork chops can be difficult to cook, but your air fryer simplifies things. These are simply seasoned, and serve with your favorite sides.

Ingredients

lbs
pork chops
1.5-2 inch thick

tbsp
avocado oil

tsp
salt

Instructions
Remove the pork from the package and pat dry with paper towels.
2 lbs pork chops
Coat the pork chops with avocado oil on both sides.

Liberally season with salt and black pepper.

Meanwhile, preheat your air fryer for 380 degrees F.
Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
Use an instant read thermometer to check the internal doneness of the pork chops.
Pork chops are safe to eat at 145 degrees F.
Carefully remove the pork chops from the air fryer basket and rest 5 minute.
Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
While they rest, place a dollop of
compound butter
on top for a layer of extra flavor.
Depending on the thickness of your pork chops, you may have to adjust the cooking time to ensure they're done.
Play around with different seasonings like garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and brown sugar to develop your own unique seasoning rub!
Preheat your air fryer so it's already hot and ready when you put the pork chops in.
If you're not serving the chops right away, wrap them in aluminum foil to keep them warm until ready to serve.
