Ingredients  

For the Pan Fried Fish

  • 4 cod fillets skin-on (about 5–6 oz / 150–170 g each)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions 

Sear the Fish:

  • Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  • In the same pan, melt the butter.
