Carolina Pulled Pork Recipe
1 tbsp Salt ½ tbsp Ground mustard 1 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Paprika ¼ tsp Cayenne 5 lbs pork shoulder ½ cup apple juice
Ingredients
Combine salt, ground mustard, pepper, paprika, and cayenne. Rub on the pork.
1. Prep the Pork!
Place pork in the fridge and let it sit for 4 to 24 hours.
2. Season the Pork!
Add the wood chunks to ashed coals and place the grate in the smoker.
3. Prepare the Smoker!
Place the pork in the smoker and cover for 3 to 4 hours. Remove, cover with apple juice, wrap in foil, and cook another 3 to 4 hours.
4. Smoke the Pork!
Allow the pork to rest before shredding it into bite sized pieces.
5. Pull the Meat!
