Ingredients
1tbspSalt
½cupOil
¼cupLime Juice
1tbspWorcestershire Sauce
1tspCumin
¼tspPepper
4Garlic Clovessmashed
1tbspCilantrominced
Instructions
Whisk the marinade ingredients in a bowl; salt, oil, lime juice, Worcestershire, cumin, pepper, garlic cloves and cilantro.
Add the meat and flip to coat.
Alternatively, add the flank steak to a large gallon ziplock bag and pour the marinade in.
Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible.
Rub the bag to coat the steak.
Marinate the flank steak for 6 to 12 hours.
When ready to cook, remove the flank steak from the marinade, discarding the marinade any garlic or herbs stuck to the meat.
Pat dry and cook as desired.
Notes
Use about ½ cup marinade for every 1 pound of meat. Scale this recipe as needed for larger or smaller cuts.To spice up the marinade, add slices of jalapeno or red pepper flakes.This marinade is perfect for grilled flank steak or oven-roasted flank steak recipes.
