BBQ Shrimp Skewers
Ingredients – 2 lbs jumbo shrimp – 1 tsp Taco Seasoning – 1 tsp Girl Carnivore Over Easy – 1 cup Head Co Sugar-Free BBQ Sauce , divided – ¼ cup Chimichurri
1. Thaw the shrimp and remove the skins. 2. Pat dry. 3. Whisk the Taco seasoning and GirlCarnivore Over Easy spice blend in a small bowl or jar. 4. Sprinkle the shrimp with spices.
5. Add the shrimp and the Head Country BBQ Sauce to a large resealable bag and marinate for 10 minutes. 6. Meanwhile, prep the grill for indirect heat 7. Make a 2-zone fire in your grill by arranging the coals to one side.
8. Clean and oil the grilling grates. 9. Allow the grill to heat. 10. Arrange the shrimp on skewers
11. Place the shrimp over direct heat and grill 5 to 7 minutes 12. Brush once or twice with additional barbecue sauce 13. Remove from heat and immediately brush with chimichurri.
Serve immediately with fresh lime wedges, cilantro, and cotija sprinkled over top.
