Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of the minced roasted pepper.

Gently combine with your hands and form into 4 equal patties, pressing a divot into the center of each with your thumb.
Refrigerate for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Cook the turkey burgers
Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the avocado oil and swirl to coat the pan.
Let the oil preheat until shimmering and just starting to smoke.
Carefully add the turkey burgers.
Cook 4 to 6 minutes.
Flip cook another 4 to 6 minutes until 165° F with a digital meat thermometer
Top with cheese last minute, and place lid on skillet to melt.

While the burgers are cooking, toast your buns, if desired.
