Spicy Szechuan Beef Noodles
This Spicy Szechuan Beef Noodle dish packs a bite and is stocked full of crunchy veggies for the perfect fast weeknight dinner recipe.
– Salt – Dried Chinese noodles or a flat pasta – Vegetable oil – Ground beef –Onion minced – Small red chile pepper –Garlic minced – Fresh ginger –Szechuan pepper or red pepper flakes – Chinese five-spice powder – Tamari or dark soy sauce – Red pepper sliced –Green beans –Scallions –Sriracha for serving
Cook the noodles in salted boiling water according to direction on package. Drain.
In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil. Add the beef, and cook. Add the onion, chile, garlic, ginger, Szechuan pepper, and five-spice powder to the beef.
Add the red pepper and green beans and cook until crunchy. Add the noodles to the beef and veggie mixture. Stir in the tamari sauce.
Remove from heat and toss with the scallions. Serve with additional chili sauce on the side.
