3. Add the chorizo, paprika, and 1 teas salt. Cook for 2 minutes, the remaining oil will turn red.
4. Cook, stirring as needed for another minute.
5. Add the tomatoes (without the juice), bay leaves, thyme, and oregano.
6. Add the potatoes, chicken broth, reserved tomato juice, and an additional teaspoon of salt.
7. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cook for 15 minutes longer.
8. Toss in the kale and cook for an additional 10 minutes. The potatoes should be fork tender.
