Grilled T-bone Steak

T-bone steaks  – Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepperCoffee-infused spice blend – Steakhouse herb compound butter

To prepare the steaks, take them out of the packaging and dry them with a pat. Apply a generous seasoning of salt, pepper, and steak spice blend on all sides. Let the steaks rest on a wire rack over a baking sheet at room temperature as you preheat the grill.

To prepare the grill, clean the grill grate and ignite the burners for direct heat. Preheat the grill with the lid closed on high until it reaches a temperature of 450 to 500 degrees F.

To grill the steaks, prepare the grill by turning off 2 burners for heat control. Place the steaks on the hot grill grates at a 45-degree angle. After 2 minutes, rotate the steaks 90 degrees for even cooking. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to create a sear, then flip the steaks. Grill for another 2 minutes or until the steak reaches your preferred internal temperature. Be cautious of flare-ups, adjusting the heat as necessary for control.
