Girl Carnivore Expert Recipe Tips

  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature!
  • Add a slice of cheese for extra protein!
  • After cooking, allow your bison burgers to rest for a few minutes before devouring. This allows those delicious juices to redistribute, ensuring maximum flavor and juiciness in every bite.

Leftovers & Reheating

Storing

First things first, let your bison burgers cool down to room temperature. Then, store the patties in an airtight container and in the fridge. This way, they’ll stay fresh and ready for your next burger craving!

Reheating

When the hunger strikes, it’s time to bring those leftover bison burger patties back to life. You have a couple of options here. One, you can gently reheat them in a pan with some oil or butter over medium heat. This will revive their juiciness and bring back that irresistible golden brown crust. Just a couple of minutes on each side, and you’re good to go!

If you’re in a hurry, the microwave is your trusty sidekick. First, wrap the burgers in a damp paper towel to keep them moist. Then, zap them for a short burst, around 30 seconds at a time, until they’re heated through. Remember, we’re aiming for burger perfection, not rubber hockey pucks!

What to Serve With Bison Burgers

Don’t leave your juicy bison burger hanging! Pair it with some BBQ Glazed Smoked Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, Domino Potatoes, or Smoked Baked Beans!
